Forge & Ember Journal publishes educational craft coverage for readers who want to understand process, material and documentation. Editorial conclusions are based on sources and stated observation, not access or promotional pressure.
Authorship and review
Every article carries a date, byline and source register. Institutional bylines are labeled as such. Named writers and editors may be added only after their identity, role and biography are verified.
Technical and safety-sensitive claims should be reviewed against current museum, conservation, manufacturer or occupational guidance appropriate to the claim.
Commercial relationships
Any paid or supported material must be clearly labeled before the headline and kept distinct from independent coverage. This pre-launch edition contains no paid placement or affiliate links.
Corrections
We correct factual errors promptly, preserve a public note for substantive changes and distinguish a correction from a routine copy edit. See the Corrections Policy for the record format.
